Abstract

The purpose of this article is to consider the objective grounds and the need for international cooperation for universities of the CIS countries, Europe and Asia, and also to describe the experience of organizing such interaction in preparing students for master's programs at universities in Kazakhstan, Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The article presents the data of sociological studies of two Russian universities - the Ural Federal University and the State University of Management, which testify to significant changes in the value system of today's youth. It is changes in values, aspirations, and life plans of young people that have occurred under the influence of global world trends that determine the direction of change and improvement in the organization of the education process in universities. Practice shows the coincidence of general trends in the drift of the value system of young people in the countries of the former Soviet Union, which actualizes the integration processes in the educational systems of these countries. Synchronization of master programs, interchange of ideas and scientific research, academic mobility lead to enrichment of both the substantive and methodological aspects of the educational process. In addition, graduates of master's programs form universal competences that are in demand in the international environment, which increases their competitiveness in the global labor market. The article describes the forms and methods of cooperation of the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.Neltsin, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the field of educational activities and joint research activities for the formation of the necessary competencies of students of master's degree in working with young people. In particular, they described an interesting learning experience in the double degree program in the Masters’ program "Preventology in the Youth Environment" of the Kazakh National University and the Ural Federal University. The forms of interaction within the framework of interstate associations created for the purpose of integration in education were also defined. Education and Development Secom (Kyrgyzstan), partnerships with which allow expanding the academic mobility of undergraduate students and the overall student exchange process between two countries.

The article also formulates proposals for improving the process of internationalization in the preparation of masters for professional work with young people.
