Abstract

Photodynamic therapy is principally a new method for discovering and treating malignant diseases. In the present, there is no precise theory for the propagation of light in structurally inhomogeneous medium and the experimental studies are additionally hampered by the necessity to maintain constant the structurally-dynamic parameters. In connections with this, computer modelling of the processes of propagation of laser radiation gains bigger and bigger role.
Keywords: laser, photodynamic therapy, mathematical modelling.
